Read the Label, Contribute to the Future

The energy label is an important indicator showing how much energy a product consumes and how efficiently it operates. Under the new energy labelling system, products are classified on a scale from A to G. Although the energy efficiency class is important, the energy consumption figures provided on the label should also be considered. Products within the same energy efficiency class may have different levels of energy consumption.

The QR codes included on the new energy labels allow consumers to quickly access detailed technical information about products. For some product groups, energy consumption is now presented for a specific number of operating cycles, such as 100 washing or use cycles, rather than as annual consumption. Energy labels make it easy to compare product characteristics such as:

  • Energy consumption,
  • Energy efficiency class,
  • Water consumption,
  • Noise level.

Energy efficient products perform the same function while consuming less energy. As a result:

  • Electricity consumption and costs are reduced,
  • The same performance is achieved with less energy,
  • Carbon emissions are reduced,
  • More sustainable lifestyles are supported.

Remember! Small choices can make a big difference.

By choosing energy efficient products, you can support both your budget and a more sustainable future.
